Hadith 95

(The book) ‘Mahj Al Dawaat’ – From the sheykh Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Abdul Samad, from his grandfather, from Al Faqeeh, from Abu Al-Hassan, from Abu Al Barkat Ali Bin Al-Husayn Al Jowzy, from Al Sadouq, from Al-Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Saeed, from Furat Bin Ibrahim, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Bin Bushrawiya, from Muhammad Bin Idrees Bin Saeed Al Ansari, from Dawood Bin Rusheyd, and Al Waleed Bin Shuja’a Bin Marwan, from Aasim, ‘From Abdullah son of Salman Al-Farsi-ra, from his father-ra having said: ‘One day I-ra went out from my-ra house, after the expiry of Rasool-Allah-saww by ten days, and Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws, son-asws of an uncle-as of the Rasool-saww Muhammad-saww met me-ra. He-asws said to me-ra: ‘You-asws have stayed away from us-asws after Rasool-Allah-saww! ’
I-ra said, ‘My-ra beloved Abu Al-Hassan-asws! The like of you-asws cannot be stayed away from, apart from that my-ra grief upon Rasool-Allah-azwj has prolonged, so it is which has prevented me-ra from visiting you-asws all! ’
He-asws said: ‘O Salman-ra! Go to the house of (Syeda) Fatima-asws, daughter-asws of Rasool-Allah-saww, for she-asws is desirous to see you-ra. She-asws wants to give you-ra a gift which she-asws has been gifted with from the Paradise’. I-ra said to Ali-asws, ‘(Syeda) Fatima-asws has been gifted with something from the Paradise, (even) after the expiry of Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-asws said: ‘Yes, yesterday’. Salman Al-Farsi-ra said, ‘I-ra sprinted to the house of (Syeda) Fatima-asws, and there she-asws was, seated, and upon her-asws was a piece of cloak. When she-asws would fully covered her-asws head, her-asws feet would be unclothed (due to its shortness), and when she-asws covered her-asws feet, her-asws head would be uncovered. When she-asws looked at me-ra, she-asws veiled, then said: ‘O Salman-ra! You-asws have forsaken me-asws after the expiry of my-asws father-saww’. I-ra said, ‘My-ra beloved! Would I-ra ever forsake you-asws? ’
She-asws said: ‘Then what (was the cause)? Be seated and understand what I-asws am saying to you-ra. Yesterday I-asws was seated in this seat, and the door was locked, and I-asws was thoughtful regarding termination of the Revelation from us-asws, and the dispersal of the Angels away from our-asws house, when the door opened from without anyone opened it. Three neighbours entered to see me-asws, the beholders have not seen their beauty, nor like their physique, nor bliss of their faces, nor any purer of their aromas. When I-asws saw them, I-asws stood up to them, covered of face to them. I-asws said: ‘By my-asws father-saww! Are you from the people of Makkah, or from the people of Al-Medina? ’
They said, ‘O daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww! We are neither from the people of Makkah nor from the people of Al-Medina, nor from the people of the earth as a whole, apart from that, we are neighbours from the Maiden Houries from the House of Peace. The Lord-azwj of Mighty has Sent us to you-asws, O daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww! We are desirous to see you-asws’.
