لي، الأمالي للصدوق أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ وَ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ وَ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْعِجْلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْبَاقِرِ ع قَالَ: أُصِيبَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ وُجِدَ بِهِ ثَلَاثُمِائَةٍ وَ بِضْعٌ وَ عِشْرُونَ طَعْنَةً بِرُمْحٍ أَوْ ضَرْبَةً بِسَيْفٍ أَوْ رَمْيَةً بِسَهْمٍ فَرُوِيَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ كُلُّهَا فِي مُقَدَّمِهِ لِأَنَّهُ ع كَانَ لَا يُوَلِّي.
(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of Al Sadouq – My father, from Sa’ad, from Ibn Isa, from Muhammad Al Barqy, from Dawood Bin Abu Yazeed, from Abu Al Jaroud, and Ibn Bukeyr, and Bureyd Bin Muawiya Al Ijaly, ‘From Abu Ja’far Al-Baqir-asws having said: ‘Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws was slain and there were found to be with him-asws, three hundred and some ten stab wounds with the spears, or strikes of the swords, or shots by the arrows. All of these were in his-asws front, because-asws he-asws was not turning around’’. [20]
