Hadith 372

(The book) ‘Rijal’ of Al Kashy – Tahir Bin Isa, from Ja’far, from Al Shujaie, from Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn, from Sallam Bin Bishr Al Rumany, and Ali Bin Ibrahim Al Tameemy, from Muhammad Al Asfahany who said, ‘I was seated with Marouf Bin Kharbuz at Makkah and we were a group. A group of people of Medina passed by us being upon donkeys, having performed Umrah. Marouf said to us, ‘Ask them, ‘Is there news at it? ’’ We asked them. They said, ‘Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan died’. So we informed him with what they had said. He (the narrator) said, ‘When they had passed by another group came. Marouf said to us, ‘Ask them, ‘Is there any news at it? ’ We asked them. They said, ‘Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan, unconsciousness had afflicted him, and he has awoken’. We informed him with what they said. He said, ‘I don’t know what these ones or those ones are saying. The honoured son-asws, meaning Abu Abdullah-asws informed me that the grave of Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan and his family members would be at the banks of the Euphrates’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Abu Al-Dawaneeq carried them and dug their graves at the banks of the Euphrates’’. [252]
