Hadith 61

(The book) ‘Al Ghayb’ of the Sheykh Al Tusi – It is reported by Abu Al-Husayn Muhammad Bin Ja’far Al Asady, from Sa’ad, from a group of our companions, from them are Ibn Abu Al Khattab and Al Khashab, and Al Yaqteeny, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Al-Hassan Bin Al-Hassan in a Hadeeth of his, said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassan Musa-asws, ‘Can I ask you-asws? ’ He-asws said: ‘Ask your Imam-asws’. I said, ‘Whom do you-asws mean, for I do not recognise any Imam-asws other than you-asws! ’ He-asws said: ‘He-asws is my-asws son-asws Ali-asws. I-asws have assumed my-asws teknonym to be for him-asws’. I said, ‘My Master-asws! Save me from the Fire, for Abu Abdullah-asws had said you-asws are (Al-Qaim) the one to be standing with this command! ’ He-asws said: ‘Or, do I-asws not happen to be standing? ’
Then he-asws said: ‘O Hassan! There is none from an Imam-asws who happens to be standing in a community except and he-asws would be their ‘Qaim’ (standing one). When he-asws passes away from them, then the one who succeeds him-asws, he-asws is ‘Al-Qaim’, the standing one, and the Divine Authority until he-asws disappears from them. Thus, all of us-asws are ‘Qaim’ (standing ones). The entirety of what you have been hoping in me-asws with, shall turn to my-asws son-asws Ali-asws. By Allah-azwj! By Allah-azwj! It was not I-asws who did that with him-asws, but it was Allah-azwj Who Did that with him-asws out of love’’. [64]
