كِتَابُ النُّجُومِ، بِإِسْنَادِنَا إِلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ الطَّبَرِيِّ يَرْفَعُهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ إِلَى مُفِيدِ بْنِ جُنَيْدٍ الشَّامِيِّ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى الرِّضَا ع فَقُلْتُ لَهُ قَدْ كَثُرَ الْخَوْضُ فِيكَ وَ فِي عَجَائِبِكَ فَلَوْ شِئْتَ أَتَيْتَ بِشَيْءٍ وَ حَدَّثْتُهُ عَنْكَ فَقَالَ وَ مَا تَشَاءُ قَالَ تُحْيِي لِي أَبِي وَ أُمِّي
فَقَالَ انْصَرِفْ إِلَى مَنْزِلِكَ فَقَدْ أَحْيَيْتُهُمَا فَانْصَرَفْتُ وَ اللَّهِ وَ هُمَا فِي الْبَيْتِ أَحْيَاءُ فَأَقَامَا عِنْدِي عَشَرَةَ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ قَبَضَهُمَا اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى.
(The book) ‘Kitab Al Nujoum’ – By our chain to Muhammad Bin Jareer Al Tabari, raising it by his chain to Mufeed Bin Juneyd Al Shamy who said, ‘I entered to see Ali-asws Bin Musa Al-Reza-asws. I said to him-asws, ‘The vain talk has become a lot regarding you-asws and your-asws wonders. If I so desire, I can come up with something and narrated it being from you-asws’. He-asws said: ‘And what is your desire? ’ He said, ‘You-asws should revive my father and my mother for me’. He-asws said: ‘Leave to go to your house, for I-asws have already revived them both! ’ I left. By Allah-azwj, and they were in the house, alive! They stayed with me for ten days, then Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Recalled them’’. [159]
