نَوَادِرُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص سِرْ سَنَتَيْنِ بَرَّ وَالِدَيْكَ سِرْ سَنَةً صِلْ رَحِمَكَ سِرْ مِيلًا عُدْ مَرِيضاً سِرْ مِيلَيْنِ شَيِّعْ جَنَازَةً سِرْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَمْيَالٍ أَجِبْ دَعْوَةً سِرْ أَرْبَعَةَ أَمْيَالٍ أَغِثْ مَلْهُوفاً وَ عَلَيْكَ بِالاسْتِغْفَارِ فَإِنَّهَا الْمَنْجَاةُ.
(The book) ‘Nawadir’ of Al Rawandy – By his chain, ‘From Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘Travel for two year for righteousness with your parents, and travel for a year for connecting your kinship, and travel a mile to console a sick one, travel two miles in escorting a funeral, travel three miles to answer an invitation, travel four miles to help a distressed, and upon you is with seeking the Forgiveness, for it is a saviour’’.
