ثو، ثواب الأعمال ابْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ أَنْكَرَ مِنْكُمْ قَسَاوَةَ قَلْبِهِ فَلْيَدْنُ يَتِيماً فَيُلَاطِفُهُ وَ لْيَمْسَحْ رَأْسَهُ يَلِينُ قَلْبُهُ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِلْيَتِيمِ حَقّاً. وَ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ يُقْعِدُهُ عَلَى خِوَانِهِ وَ يَمْسَحُ رَأْسَهُ يَلِينُ قَلْبُهُ فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ لَانَ قَلْبُهُ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ.
(The book) ‘Sawaab Al Amaal’ – Ibn Al Mutwakkil, from Al Asadabady, from Al Barqy, from his father, from Ahmad Bin Al Nazr, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘One from you who wants to do away with the hardness of his heart, let him approach an orphan, and let him be kind to him, and let him wipe his head, it will soften his heart by the Permission of Allah-azwj. It is a right of the orphan’’. [11]
And he-saww said in another Hadeeth: ‘Have him (orphan) seated upon his meal, and wipe upon his-asws head, it will soften his heart. When he does that, his heart will soften by the Permission of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic’’. [12]
