وَ قَالَ ص الْجُلُوسُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ انْتِظَاراً لِلصَّلَاةِ عِبَادَةٌ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ
قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ مَا يُحْدِثُ
قَالَ ص الِاغْتِيَابُ.
And he-saww said: ‘The sitting in the Masjid awaiting for the Salat is (an act of) worship for as long as he does not innovate’. It was said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww, and what does he innovate? ’
He-saww said: ‘The backbiting’’. [139]
