ثو، ثواب الأعمال عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى الْبَغْدَادِيِّ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبائِرَ ما تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئاتِكُمْ قَالَ مَنِ اجْتَنَبَ مَا أَوْعَدَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ إِذَا كَانَ مُؤْمِناً كَفَّرَ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ
وَ الْكَبَائِرُ السَّبْعُ الْمُوجِبَاتُ النَّارِ قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الْحَرَامِ وَ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَ أَكْلُ الرِّبَا وَ التَّعَرُّبُ بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَ قَذْفُ الْمُحْصَنَةِ وَ أَكْلُ مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ وَ الْفِرَارُ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ.
(The book) ‘Sawaab Al Amaal’ – from his father, from Sa’ad, from Musa Al Baghdadi, from Al Washa, from Ahmad Bin Umeyr Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah-asws about Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: If you shun the major sins which you are Forbidden from, We will Remove your (small) sins and Cause you to enter an honourable place of entering [4: 31]. He-asws said: ‘One who shuns what Allah-azwj has Threatened the Fire upon, if he were to be a Momin, He-azwj would Expiate his evil deeds from him. And the major sins are seven, obliging the Fire – killing the soul Prohibited (to kill), and disobeying the parents, and consuming the interest, and the Arabism after the emigration, and slandering the married women, and consuming wealth of the orphan, and fleeing from the battle march’’. [14]
