الْهِدَايَةُ، لِلصَّدُوقِ الْمَاءُ كُلُّهُ طَاهِرٌ حَتَّى يُعْلَمَ أَنَّهُ قَذِرٌ. 7- الْمُقْنِعَةُ، عَنِ الْبَاقِرِ ع قَالَ: أَفْطِرْ عَلَى الْحُلْوِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْهُ فَأَفْطِرْ عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ.
(The book) ‘Al Hidaya’ of Al Sadouq –
‘The water, all of it is pure, until one knows that it is dirty’’. [6] (unknown whether it is a Hadeeth or not)

‘From Al-Baqir-asws having said: ‘Break the fast upon the sweet. If you cannot find it, then break fast upon the water, for the water is a purifier’’. [7]
