مَأْوَى الْكَرَمِ
إِلَهِي أَ تُقِيمُنِي مُقَامَ التَّهَتُّكِ وَ أَنْتَ جَمِيلُ السِّتْرِ وَ تَسْأَلُنِي عَنِ اقْتِرَافِي عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَخْبِيَّاتِ السِّرِّ
فَإِنْ كُنْتُ إِلَهِي مُسْرِفاً عَلَى نَفْسِي مُخْطِئاً عَلَيْهَا بِانْتِهَاكِ الْحِرْمَانِ نَاسِياً لِمَا اجْتَرَمْتُ مِنَ الْهَفَوَاتِ فَأَنْتَ لَطِيفٌ تَجُودُ عَلَى الْمُسْرِفِينَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ تَتَفَضَّلُ عَلَى الْخَاطِئِينَ بِكَرَمِكَ فَارْحَمْنِي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
فَإِنَّكَ تُسَكِّنُ بِتَحَنُّنِكَ رَوْعَاتِ قُلُوبِ الْوَجِلِينَ وَ مُحَقِّقٌ بِتَطَوُّلِكَ أَمَلَ الْآمِلِينَ وَ تُفِيضُ سِجَالَ عَطَايَاكَ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْمُسْتَأْهِلِينَ فَآمِنِّي بِرَجَاءٍ لَا يَشُوبُهُ قُنُوطٌ وَ أَمَلٍ لَا يُكَدِّرُهُ بَأْسٌ
يَا مُحِيطاً بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً وَ قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ سَيِّدِي وَ أَمْسَيْتُ عَلَى بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ مِنَحِكَ سَائِلًا وَ عَنِ التَّعَرُّضِ لِسِوَاكَ بِالْمَسْأَلَةِ عَادِلًا وَ لَيْسَ مِنْ جَمِيلِ امْتِنَانِكَ رَدُّ سَائِلٍ مَأْسُورٍ مَلْهُوفٍ وَ مُضْطَرٍّ لِانْتِظَارِ خَيْرِكَ الْمَأْلُوفِ
إِلَهِي أَنْتَ الَّذِي عَجَزَتِ الْأَوْهَامُ عَنِ الْإِحَاطَةِ بِكَ وَ كَلَّتِ الْأَلْسُنُ عَنْ نَعْتِ ذَاتِكَ فَبِآلَائِكَ وَ طَوْلِكَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً حَلَالًا طَيِّباً فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ أَقِلْنِي الْعَثْرَةَ
يَا غَايَةَ أَمَلِ الْآمِلِينَ وَ جَبَّارَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ الْبَاقِيَ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِينَ وَ دَيَّانَ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ وَ أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ ثِقَةُ مَنْ لَمْ يَثِقْ بِنَفْسِهِ لِإِفْرَاطِ حَالِهِ وَ أَمَلُ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ تَأْمِيلٌ لِكَثْرَةِ زَلَلِهِ وَ رَجَاءُ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْتَجِ لِنَفْسِهِ بِوَسِيلَةِ عَمَلِهِ
إِلَهِي فَأَنْقِذْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْمَهَالِكِ وَ أَحِلَّنِي دَارَ الْأَخْيَارِ وَ اجْعَلْنِي مُرَافِقَ الْأَبْرَارِ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبَ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ
يَا مُطَّلِعاً عَلَى الْأَسْرَارِ وَ احْتَمِلْ عَنِّي يَا مَوْلَايَ أَدَاءَ مَا افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيَّ لِلْآبَاءِ وَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَ الْإِخْوَانِ وَ الْأَخَوَاتِ بِلُطْفِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ
يَا عَلِيَّ الْمَلَكُوتِ وَ أَشْرِكْنَا فِي دُعَاءِ مَنِ اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ إِنَّكَ عَالِمٌ جَوَادٌ كَرِيمٌ وَهَّابٌ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عِتْرَتِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.
evolent Shelter! My God-azwj! Will You-azwj Pause me in a position You-azwj Violate (the secrets) and You-azwj are the beautiful Concealer, and will You-azwj Question me about the acknowledgment upon heads of the witnesses and You-azwj do Know the hidden secrets? My God-azwj! I have been extravagant upon my soul, doing wrong upon it with violation of the sanctities, forgetful of what mistakes I have committed. You-azwj are Generous upon the extravagant with Your-azwj Mercy, and are Gracious upon the wrong-doings by Your-azwj Benevolence, therefore Mercy me, O most Merciful of the merciful ones! You calm the dread of palpitating hearts by Your-azwj Compassion, and hopes of the hoping ones are realised by Your-azwj Leniency, and You-azwj Pour the streams of Your-azwj Awards upon the underserving. Secure me with hopes untouched by despondency, and aspirations not muddied by hardship! O Encompasser of all things in Knowledge! My Chief, I have come to morning and evening at a door from the doors of Your-azwj Generousity as a beggar, and turning away from exposing to others with the asking, and it isn’t from the beauty of Your-azwj Conferment to return a beggar in difficulty, needy and desperate to await Your-azwj goodness, the inclusive! My God-azwj! You-azwj are the One Who Frustrate the imaginations from encompassing You-azwj, and Uprooted the tongues from describing Your-azwj Self! By Your-azwj Favours and Your-azwj Leniency, Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Forgive my sins for me and Expand upon me from Your-azwj Capacious Grace, vast sustenance, Permissible, goodly, in well-being, and Reduce my stumbles! O Peak of the aspirations of the aspirers, and Subduer of the skies and the earths, and the remaining after annihilation of the creation, and Judge on the Day of Religion (Qiyamah), and You-azwj my Master-azwj are a Trust of the one who does not trust himself in excessiveness of his state, and hope of the one who has no hope due to the large number of his errors, and hope of the one who does not hope for himself with a means of his actions! My God-azwj! Save me by Your-azwj Mercy from the destructions and Legalise for me house of the good ones, and Make be a friend of the righteous, and Forgive for me sins of the night and the day! O Noticer upon the secrets, and O my Master-azwj, Carry on my behalf fulfilment of what You‑azwj have Imposed upon me for the fathers and the mothers, and the brothers and the sisters, by You-azwj Compassion and Your-azwj Benevolence! O most Exalted of the Kingdoms, and Participate us in a supplication of the ones You-azwj Respond to, from the believing men and the believing women! You-azwj are a Knower, most Knower, Bestower! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and his-saww Pure family-asws! ’’[28]
