يَا ذُلِّي يَا ذُلِّي إِلَى مَنْ أَوْ عِنْدَ مَنْ أَوْ كَيْفَ أَوْ لِمَا ذَا أَوْ إِلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ أَلْجَأُ وَ مَنْ أَرْجُو وَ مَنْ يَعُودُ عَلَيَّ حَيْثُ تَرْفِضُنِي يَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
وَ إِنْ قُلْتَ نَعَمْ كَمَا الظَّنُّ بِكَ فَطُوبَى لِي أَنَا السَّعِيدُ طُوبَى لِي أَنَا الْغَنِيُّ طُوبَى لِي أَنَا الْمَرْحُومُ أَيْ مُتَرَاحِمُ أَيْ مُتَرَائِفُ أَيْ مُتَعَطِّفُ أَيْ مُتَمَلِّكُ أَيْ مُتَجَبِّرُ أَيْ مُتَسَلِّطُ لَا عَمَلَ لِي أَبْلُغُ بِهِ نَجَاحَ حَاجَتِي
فَأَنَا أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي أَنْشَأْتَهُ مِنْ كُلِّكَ وَ اسْتَقَرَّ فِي غَيْبِكَ فَلَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْكَ إِلَى شَيْءٍ سِوَاكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِهِ هُوَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُلْفَظْ بِهِ وَ لَا يُلْفَظُ بِهِ أَبَداً أَبَداً وَ بِهِ وَ بِكَ لَا شَيْءَ غَيْرُ هَذَا
وَ لَا أَجِدُ أَحَداً أَنْفَعَ لِي مِنْكَ أَيْ كَبِيرُ أَيْ عَلِيُّ أَيْ مَنْ عَرَّفَنِي نَفْسَهُ أَيْ مَنْ أَمَرَنِي بِطَاعَتِهِ أَيَا مَنْ نَهَانِي عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِهِ أَيَا مَنْ أَعْطَانِي مَسْئُولِي أَيْ مَدْعُوُّ أَيْ مَسْئُولُ أَيْ مَطْلُوباً إِلَيْهِ
إِلَهِي رَفَضْتُ وَصِيَّتَكَ وَ لَمْ أُطِعْكَ وَ لَوْ أَطَعْتُكَ لَكَفَيْتَنِي مَا قُمْتُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَقُومَ وَ أَنَا مَعَ مَعْصِيَتِي لَكَ رَاجٍ
فَلَا تَحُلْ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ مَا رَجَوْتُ وَ ارْدُدْ يَدِي عَلَيَّ مَلْأَى مِنْ خَيْرِكَ وَ فَضْلِكَ وَ بِرِّكَ وَ عَافِيَتِكَ وَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ رِضْوَانِكَ وَ بِحَقِّكَ يَا سَيِّدِي.
O my disgrace! O my disgrace! To whom, or with whom, or how, or to what, or to which thing can I shelter, and who can I hope to, and who can I return to when You-azwj Reject me, O vast of the Forgiveness! And if You-azwj Say yes, as it is hoped for You-azwj, then fortunate am I. Fortunate am I, for I am content. Fortunate am I, for I am rich. Fortunate am I, for I am the one blessed with Mercy by the Compassionate, the Benevolent, the Sovereign, the Mighty, the All-powerful. I have no action by which I can achieve the success of my need! I ask You-azwj by Your-azwj Name that You-azwj Created from all of Yourself-azwj, and it settled in Your-azwj unseen, and nothing besides You-azwj emerges from it. I ask You-azwj by it, that which is unspoken by it and will never be spoken by it forever and ever. And by it and by You, there is nothing other than this! And I cannot find anyone more beneficial for me than You-azwj! O Great, O Exalted, O the One‑azwj Who Introduced me to Himself-azwj, O One Who Commanded me with obeying Him‑azwj, O One Who Prohibited me from disobeying Him-azwj, O One Who Granted me my request, O supplicated to, O begged to, O sought to! My God-azwj! I rejected Your-azwj Advice and did not obey You-azwj, and had I obeyed You-azwj, You-azwj would have Suffice me regarding what I am standing to You-azwj before I stand, and I am with my acts of disobedience hopeful to You-azwj! Do not Form a barrier between me and what I am hoping for, and Return my hands to me filled with Your-azwj goodness and Your-azwj Grace, and Your-azwj well-being, and Your-azwj Forgiveness, and Your-azwj Satisfaction, and by Your-azwj right, O my Master! ’’[103]
