The Reward for the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ — Hadith 5

5. Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Ḥakam, from Sayf ibn ‘Amīrah, from Abī Bakr Al-Ḥaďrami, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )) ordered me to increasingly pray in the Mosque of the Messenger of Allāh (s. a. a. w. ) as much as I could. He told me that I would not be able to pray there whenever I wanted to. Imam (a. s. ) asked me, “Do you go to the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s. a. a. w. )? ” “Yes, ” I replied. Imam (a. s. ) said, “Verily the Messenger of Allāh (s. a. a. w. ) hears your voice (if you perform his Ziyārah) from nearby and he will be informed of you (if you perform his Ziyārah) from far. ”
