2. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Muḥammad ibn Khālid, from Abān Al-Aḥmar, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain Al-Khazzāz, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )), “May I sacrifice myself for you! What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ) knowing his rights, seeking nearness with Allāh, the Exalted, and hoping for (the blessings of) the Hereafter? ” Imam (a. s. ) replied, “O Hārūn! I swear to Allāh that Allāh will forgive all of the past and future sins of those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ) knowing his rights, seeking nearness with Allāh, and hoping for (the blessings of) the Hereafter. ” Then Imam (a. s. ) added, “Did I not swear to Allāh for you? ! Did I not swear to Allāh for you? ! Did I not swear to Allāh for you? ! ”
