السَّلاَمُ عَلَى وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ وَحَبِيبِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَى خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ وَنَجِيبِهِ. السَّلاَمُ عَلَى صَفِيِّ اللَّهِ وَابْنِ صَفِيِّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ الْمَظْلُومِ الشَّهِيدِ. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ نُوراً فِي الْأَصْلاَبِ الشَّامِخَةِ وَالْأَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةُ بِأَنْجَاسِهَا وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِيَابِهَا. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ مِنْ دَعَائِمِ الدِّينِ وَأَرْكَانِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَمَعْقِلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
Peace be upon the guardian of God and His beloved. Peace be upon the intimate friend of God and His noble one. Peace be upon the chosen of God and the son of His chosen. Peace be upon al-Ḥusayn, the oppressed, the martyr. I bear witness that you were a light in noble loins and purified wombs, that the age of ignorance did not defile you with its impurities nor cloak you in its dark garments. I bear witness that you are among the pillars of the religion, the foundations of the Muslims, and the refuge of the believers.
