ْنِ سُوقَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فِي حَدِيثِ الْإِسْرَاءِ فَإِذَا مَلَكٌ قَدْ أَتَانِي فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ سَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا عَلَى مَا ذَا بُعِثْتُمْ
فَقُلْتُ لَهُمْ مَعَاشِرَ الرُّسُلِ وَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى مَا ذَا بَعَثَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَبْلِي قَالُوا عَلَى وَلَايَتِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع. وَ يُؤَيِّدُهُ مَا رَوَاهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الدَّيْلَمِيُّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ رِجَالِهِ إِلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لَمَّا عُرِجَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَ انْتَهَيْتُ فِي الْمَسِيرِ مَعَ جَبْرَئِيلَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الرَّابِعَةِ فَرَأَيْتُ بَيْتاً مِنْ يَاقُوتٍ أَحْمَرَ فَقَالَ لِي جَبْرَئِيلُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ هَذَا الْبَيْتُ الْمَعْمُورُ خَلَقَهُ اللَّهُ قَبْلَ خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ بِخَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ عَامٍ فَصَلِّ فِيهِ
فَقُمْتُ لِلصَّلَاةِ وَ جَمَعَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ فَصَفَّهُمْ جَبْرَئِيلُ فَصَلَّيْتُ بِهِمْ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمْتُ أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّي فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ رَبُّكَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلَامَ وَ يَقُولُ لَكَ سَلِ الرُّسُلَ عَلَى مَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِي
قُلْتُ مَعَاشِرَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ الرُّسُلِ عَلَى مَا ذَا بَعَثَكُمْ رَبِّي قَبْلِي قَالُوا عَلَى وَلَايَتِكَ وَ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ وَ سْئَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنا. وَ مِنْ طَرِيقِ الْعَامَّةِ عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْحَافِظِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَمِيلٍ يَرْفَعُهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي تَفْسِيرِ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى وَ سْئَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص لَمَّا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ لَيْلَةَ الْإِسْرَاءِ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى سَلْهُمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ عَلَى مَا بُعِثْتُمْ قَالُوا بُعِثْنَا عَلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ الْإِقْرَارِ بِنُبُوَّتِكَ وَ عَلَى الْوَلَايَةِ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع.
n Masoud who said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said to me in a Hadeeth of the Ascension: ‘And there was an Angel who had come to me-saww. He said, ‘O Muhammad-saww! And ask ones We Sent from before you from Our Rasools, [43: 45], what is that they were Sent upon? ’
I-saww said to them-as: ‘Community of the Rasools-as! What is that you-as had been Sent upon? ’ They-as said: ‘Your-saww Wilayah, O Muhammad-saww, and Wilayah of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws’’. [191]
And it is supported by what is reported by Al-Hassan Bin Abu Al-Hassan Al Daylami, by his chain from his men, to Muhammad Bin Humran who said, ‘It is narrated to us by Muhammad Bin Al Saib, from Ibn Abbas who said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘When there was an Ascension with me-saww to the sky and I-saww ended in the journey with Jibraeel-as, to the fourth sky, I-saww saw a building of red ruby. Jibraeel-as said to me-saww: ‘O Muhammad-saww! This is Bayt Al-Mamour. Allah-azwj Created it before He-azwj Created the skies and the earth, by fifty thousand years, so pray Salat in it’. I-saww stood for the Salat and Allah-azwj Gathered the Prophets-as and the Messengers-as. Jibraeel-as formed their-as rows and I-saww prayed Salat (leading) them-as. When I-saww had performed Salaam, a comer came from the Presence of my-saww Lord-azwj. He said, ‘O Muhammad-saww! Your-saww Lord-azwj Conveys the Greetings to you-saww and Says to you-saww: “Ask the Rasools-as: ‘What were you-as all Sent upon from before me-saww? ’”
I-saww said: ‘Community of the Prophets-as and Messengers-as! What is that my-saww Lord-azwj had Sent you-as upon before me-saww? ’ They said, ‘Upon your-saww Wilayah and Wilayah of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws! ’ And that is His-azwj Word: And ask ones We Sent from before you from Our Rasools, [43: 45]’’. [192]
And from the way of the general Muslims, from Abu Nueym Al Hafiz, from Muhammad Bin Jameel, raising it from Ibn Abbas, ‘In interpretation of Words of the Exalted: And ask ones We Sent from before you from Our Rasools, [43: 45]. The Prophet-saww said: ‘When Allah-azwj Gathered between me-saww and the Prophets-as on the night of the Ascension, Allah-azwj the Exalted Said: “Ask them-as, O Muhammad-saww: ‘What were you-as all Sent upon? ’” They-as said: ‘We-as were Sent upon the testimony that there is no god except Allah-azwj, and acknowledgment with your-saww Prophet-hood, and upon Wilayah of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws’’.
