(The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported from Rayyan Bin Al Salt who said, ‘I entered to see Al-Reza-asws at Khurasan, and I said within myself, ‘I shall ask him-asws about these Dinars which have been struck with his-asws name’. When I entered to see him-asws, he-asws said to his-asws slave: ‘Abu Muhammad desires from these Dinars upon which is my-asws name, so come with thirty of them! ’ The slave came with these. I took them. then I said within myself, ‘If only he-asws could clothe me from some of what is upon him-asws’. He-asws turned to his-asws slave and said: ‘Tell them not to wash my-asws clothes and come with them just as they are’. They came with his-asws shirt and a trouser, and slippers. He-asws handed them to me’’. [144]
