Hadith 36

(The book) ‘Kashf Al Ghumma’ – Ibn Al Khashab said, ‘It is narrated to me by Abu Al Qasim Tahir Bin Haroun Bin Musa Al Alawy, from his father, from his grandfather who said, ‘My Master-asws Ja’far Bin Muhammad-asws said: ‘The righteous replacement (Al-Khalaf Al-Salih) is from my-asws sons-asws, and he-ajfj is the Mahdi-ajfj. His-ajfj name is MHMD, and his-ajfj teknonym is ‘Abu Al Qasim’. He-ajfj will emerge at the end of times. His-ajfj mother-as is called ‘Saqeyl’. Abu Bakt Al-Dara’a said to us, ‘And in another report, ‘But, his-ajfj mother-as is Hakeema-as’. And in a third report, ‘She-as is called ‘Narjis’. And it is said, ‘But, it is ‘Sowsan’, and Allah-azwj is more Knowing with that. And he-ajfj is teknonymed as ‘Abu Al-Qasim’, and he-ajfj is with two names – ‘Khalaf’ and ‘Muhammad’. He-ajfj will appear at the end of times, and upon his-ajfj would be a cloud shading him-ajfj from the sun, rotating with him-ajfj wherever he-ajfj rotates, with an eloquent voice: ‘This is the Mahdi-ajfj! ’’[39]
It is narrated to me by Muhammad Bin Musa al Tusi who said, ‘It is narrated to us by Abu Miskeen, from one of the writers of history, ‘The mother-as of the Awaited One (Al-Muntazar)-ajfj is called ‘Hakeema’’. [40]
Note: And Ibn Khalkan said in his history, ‘He-ajfj is the twelfth Imam-ajfj based upon the beliefs of the Imamites, well-known as ‘Al-Hujjah’, and he-ajfj is the on the Shias allege that he-ajfj is ‘Al-Muntazar’ (the awaited one), and ‘Al-Qaim’ (the rising one), and ‘Al-Mahdi’ (the guided one), and he-ajfj is the ‘companion of the basement’ in their view, and their words regarding him-ajfj are a lot, and they are awaiting his-ajfj appearance at the end of time from the basement at Surmanray. He-ajfj was blessed (to his parents-asws) on the day of Friday in the middle of Shaban in the year two hundred and fifty-five. And when his-ajfj father-asws expired, his-ajfj was five year, and the name of his-ajfj mother is ‘Khamta’, and it is said, ‘Narjis’. And the Shias are saying he-ajfj entered the basement in a house of his-ajfj father-asws and his-ajfj mother-as to look into it. Afterwards he-ajfj did not come out of it, and that was in the year two hundred and sixty-five, and on that day his-ajfj was nine years. And Ibn Al-Azraq mentioned in ‘Tareekh Miyafarqeen’ that the mention Divine Authority was blessed (to his parents-asws) on the night of the month of Rabbi Al-Awwal in the year two hundred and fifty-eight. And it is said, ‘One the eighth of Shaban in the year (two hundred and) fifty-six, and it is more correct. And when he-ajfj entered the basement, his-ajfj age was four years. And it is said, five years. And it is said he-ajfj entered the basement in the year two hundred and seventy-five and his-ajfj age was seventeen years. And Allah-azwj is more Knowing’. I (Majlisi) am saying, ‘I saw in one of the compilations of our companions, a report in this outline. He said, ‘It is narrated to me by Haroun Bin Muslim, from Sa’dan Al Basry, and Muhammad Bin Ahmad al Baghdady, and Ahmad Bin Is’haq, and Sahl Bin Ziyad Al Adamy, and Abdullah Bin Ja’far, from a n
