وَ مِنْهُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّ أَصْلَ حَمَامِ الْحَرَمِ بَقِيَّةُ حَمَامٍ كَانَ لِإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ع اتَّخَذَهَا كَانَ يَأْنَسُ بِهَا
فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يُسْتَحَبُّ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ طَيْراً مَقْصُوصاً يَأْنَسُ بِهِ مَخَافَةَ الْهَوَامِ.
And from him, from Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hafs Bin Al Bakhtary, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws, ‘The origin of the pigeons of the Sanctuary are remainder of the pigeon of a pigeon which used to be for Ismail Bin Ibrahim-as. He-as had kept it to be comforted by it’. Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘It is recommended to keep a clipped pigeon to be comforted by it, fearing the vermin’’. [47]
