كِتَابُ سَلَّامِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ مَعْرُوفِ بْنِ خَرَّبُوذَ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَنْشَأْتُ الْحَدِيثَ فَذَكَرْتُ بَابَ الْقَدَرِ فَقَالَ لَا أَرَاكَ إِلَّا هُنَاكَ اخْرُجْ عَنِّي
قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ إِنِّي أَتُوبُ مِنْهُ
فَقَالَ لَا وَ اللَّهِ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ إِلَى بَيْتِكَ وَ تَغْتَسِلَ وَ تَتُوبَ مِنْهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ كَمَا يَتُوبُ النَّصْرَانِيُّ مِنْ نَصْرَانِيَّتِهِ
قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ.
The book of Sallam Bin Abu Amrah, from Marouf Bin Kharbouz Al Makky, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I entered to see him. I raised the Hadeeth and mentioned the subject of Pre-determination. He-asws said: ‘I-asws don’t want to see you going over there! Get out from me-asws! ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you-asws! I repent from it’. He-asws said: ‘No, by Allah-azwj, until you go out from your house, and wash, and repent from it to Allah-azwj, just as the Christian repents from Christianity! ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘I did so’’. [27]
