Hadith 76

ion for him in the sky’. I said, ‘What is the meaning of Allah-azwj Purifying him? ’
He-asws said: ‘A purification that he-saww is free from every deficiency and disability sticking to a created being’. I said, ‘The Salawaat of the Momineen? ’
He-asws: ‘They exonerate him-saww and recognise him-saww that Allah-azwj has Cured him-saww from every deficiency which is in the created being, from the defect which afflicts them in the construction of their physiques. The one who knows him-saww and describes him-saww with other than that, He-azwj does not Send Salawaat upon him’. I said, ‘How should we be saying when we send Salawaat upon them-asws? ’
He-asws said: ‘You should say, ‘O Allah-azwj! We send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww Your-azwj Prophet-saww and upon Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww just as You-azwj have Commanded us with, and just as You-azwj Sent upon him-saww, so like that we are sending Salawaat upon him‑saww! ’’[141]
And from him, by the chain to the sheykh, by his chain from Muhammad Bin Al-Hassan Al Saffar, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Muhammad Al Ansari, from Yahya Bin Abdullah, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘One who says, ‘May Allah-azwj Sent Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww the Prophet-saww’, Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Says: “Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon you! ” So let him (do it) more, or let him (do it) less’’. [142]
And from, by this chain from Al Saffar, from Ibrahim Bin Hashim, from Abu Abdullah Al Barqy raising it to, Abu Abdullah-asws, a man said to him-asws, ‘May I be sacrificed for you-asws! Inform me about Words of Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted, and what He-azwj Described from the Angels: They are Glorifying by the night and the day. They are not taking a break [21: 20]. Then Said: Surely, Allah and His Angels are Sending Salawaat upon the Prophet. O you those who believe! Send Salawaat upon him and submit submissively [33: 56]. How are they not taking a break and they are sending Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww? ’
Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘When Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Created Muhammad-saww, Commanded the Angels. He-azwj Said: “Reduce from doing My-azwj Zikr by a measurement of the Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww! ”
The words of the man, ‘May Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww’ in the Salat is like his words, ‘Glory be to Allah-azwj, and the Praise is for Allah-azwj, and there is no god except Allah-azwj, and Allah-azwj is Greatest’’. [143]
‘Kitab Al Imamah Wa Al Tabsira’ of Ali Bin Babuwayh – from Sahl Bin Ahmad, from Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Al Ash’as, ‘From Musa Bin Ismail son of Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws, from his father-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘May the nose (pride) be rubbed, I-saww mentioned in his presence but he does not send Salawaat upon me-saww! May the nose of a man be rubbed, he comes across his parents during the old age but they don’t enter him into the Paradise! May the nose a man be rubbed, a month of Ramazan entered unto him, then it passes away before (his sins) are Forgiven for him’’. [144]
