جا، المجالس للمفيد أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ تَغْلِبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: بَلَغَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَرَى مُحَمَّدٌ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَحْكَمَ الْأَمْرَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَ لَئِنْ مَاتَ لَنَعْزِلَنَّهَا عَنْهُمْ وَ لَنَجْعَلَنَّهَا فِي سِوَاهُمْ
فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص حَتَّى قَامَ فِي مَجْمَعِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ كَيْفَ بِكُمْ وَ قَدْ كَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدِي ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُمُونِي فِي كَتِيبَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي أَضْرِبُ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَ رِقَابَكُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ
فَنَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ جَبْرَئِيلُ ع فِي الْحَالِ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلَامَ وَ يَقُولُ لَكَ قُلْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَوْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَوْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَتَوَلَّى ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ.
(The book) ‘Al Majaalis’ of Al Mufeed – Ahmad Bin Al Waleed, from his father, from Al Saffar, from Ibn Isa, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abu Jameela, from Ibn Taghlib, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘It reached Rasool-Allah-saww about a group of Quraysh that they said, ‘Muhammad-saww is now free. He-saww has decided the command to be in People-asws of his-saww Household, and if he-saww were to die, we will snatch it away from them and make it to be in others’. Rasool-Allah-saww came out until he-saww stood in their gathering, then said: ‘O community of Quraysh! How would it be with you when you would have committed Kufr after me-saww, then you will be seeing me-saww in a battalion of my-saww companions striking your faces and your necks with the sword? ’
Jibraeel-as descended unto him-saww immediately and said: ‘O Muhammad-saww! Your-saww Lord-azwj Conveys the Greetings to you-saww and is Saying to you-asws: ‘Say, ‘If Allah-azwj so Desires, or it would be Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws’’. Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘If Allah-azwj so Desires, or it would be Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws from you being in-charge of that’’. [152]
